Women’s Health Seminar 2019

Join us Saturday, October 26th at the Priest River Event Center for this FREE event! The day will include inspiring women’s health speakers, a sit down luncheon, and  a special closing presentation.

This year we’ve asked Deputy Chris Johnston (Spokane County Sheriff’s Office) to come back again! Deputy Johnston will continue the conversation and demonstrations on personal safety.

Deputy Chris Johnston, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. 12 years of experience in law enforcement, including response and investigations of burglary, assault, robbery, theft, homicide, traffic, drugs, sex crimes, and various domestic violence crimes. Currently assigned to the Crime Prevention Unit for the City of Spokane Valley, maintains certification as an emergency vehicle operations instructor, Crisis Intervention Team, and public instruction on topics such as personal safety, self-defense, workplace violence prevention, active shooter survival, crime prevention through environmental design, and verbal de-escalation techniques.

In addition, we have two more amazing speakers: 

“Herbs and Arthritis”, by Lois Robertson, LMT (Cedar Mountain Medicinals)

 

“Osteoporosis” , by Karla Gowan, DPT

There will be free blood pressure checks, hospital information tables, door prizes, and a special gift for each attendee!
