What: This Nursing Assistant-Certified course is presented by the Newport Hospital & Health Services Education Department. This course prepares students to qualify for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Examination (NNAAP). Completing this course and passing the NNAAP are prerequisites to working as a NAC in Washington state.

Program length: 134 hours over four weeks.

Cost: The cost of the program is $1,216.56, which covers registration, tuition, TB test, manual, supplies, First Aid card, and the skills test. State registration and certification fees, the computer test, and uniforms are not included.
