Financial Assistance & Application

Newport Hospital & Health Services is committed to providing health care services to all persons in need of medical attention, regardless of ability to pay. Medically indigent patients – those with no or inadequate means of paying for needed care – will be granted charity care in accordance with the hospital’s Financial Assistance Policy (effective 2/15/2024). The Financial Assistance program was established to provide assistance to those patients who would have paid their account, but were financially unable to do so.

Please ask the Admitting or Patient Financial Services office staff for a copy of the guidelines and an application. Complete Financial Assistance Applications should be submitted to the Patient Financial Services office. Our Financial Assistance Program is based on a sliding fee schedule extending up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
